GT STRUDL Webinar: CADModeler – Create True Models for Structural Analysis & Design
with Dr. Aristidis Papachristidis, Intergraph
Date: Wednesday, June 7, 2017
Time: 10:00 AM CDT click here for your local time
Duration: 1 hour
Cost: free eSeminar
The
new GT STRUDL CADModeler Graphical User Interface (GUI) is one of the
most powerful new modeling environments and enhancements included with
GT STRUDL. As an extension to BricsCAD or AutoCAD, GT STRUDL CADModeler
integrates CAD modeling to the CAE environment.
Empower your
structural engineers and designers to take full advantage of CAD’s 3D
graphical environment to create true models for structural analysis and
design. Create simple to highly complex models in less time, at less
cost, and in a more reliable manner. You can:
- Automatically create the GT STRUDL input files (complete with analysis instructions)
- Automatically execute the GT STRUDL analysis
- Review your results for quick engineering judgments back in the CAD interface
GT STRUDL CADModeler includes a rich collection of easy to learn and intuitive modeling tools to accurately specify your structure information, including:
- Framing
- Finite elements
- Connectivity
- Loads
- Load combinations
- Visualization
Attend this webinar to learn how to take advantage of all the benefits that CADModeler provides, such as:
- Optimal structural designs
- Computer-aided modeling, analysis, and design
- New structuralism
- Building information modeling
The webinar will also include an update in emerging trends in structural engineering education.
Speaker bio:
Dr.
Aristidis Papachristidis has 15 years of structural engineering
experience in the analysis and design of various special purpose highly
critical structures, such as nuclear power plant facilities and pipe
support systems, general industrial structures, large commercial
buildings, bridge structures, geotechnical structures and tunnel
structures.
He is experienced in the application of GT STRUDL to a
wide variety of structural engineering problems. Authorized for GT
STRUDL Training and Technical Support, together with his staff of
experienced structural engineers, he provides full-service technical
support in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, including GT
STRUDL user training (introductory and advanced topics) and structural
engineering consulting related to GT STRUDL use.
